If you feel you don't have time for coupons try this. For the
next four to six weeks take just a few minutes each Sunday or
Monday to flip through the coupon inserts from your local paper.
You don't have to use any of the coupons, or even clip them out.
I just want you to browse through them and get a feel for how
much money you could be saving if you would make a little time
for them on a weekly basis. This little 10-minute task might be
worth a lot more than you think! :o)

without using coupons! Read more of Michelle's FREE grocery

I want to personally welcome you to this week's newsletter. If
you are a new subscriber all you have to do is just sit back,
read and enjoy.
This was an extremely slow week. I didn't even receive any
email that I could put in the newsletter.
I'm looking for about 20 subscribers to help me. You will
receive my products free and give your opinion on various aspects
of that product. I'm looking for individuals that:
Have the time to read web pages and ebooks
Will stick with me for the entire test
Will answer their email within a day or two
Are willing to have their first and last name, city and state
and possibly a picture appear on web sites
Will Give your honest opinions and suggestions
If you would like to participate please send me an email to:
Like I said last week, tax season is here. I just read an
article about "Refund Anticipation Loans" with information
about what they cost that I thought I should pass along.
These loans are a little scary. First, you could pay interest
rates well into the triple digits just for using their money
for a few days.
Second, and a little more discomforting is the fact that if
you obtain one of these loans and for some reason the IRS
holds your refund, you could be stuck with another debt and
no way to pay. This could happen if you owe back taxes,
are behind on child support or a number of other reasons.
Currently efiling only takes about 9 or 10 days to get your
refund and the IRS is working on getting your money to you
even sooner. It would be a good idea to just have a little
patience and avoid these potential problems.
I'm running short of Subscriber Tips again. Please take a
couple of minutes to share your tips with us:
That's all for now. Remember, I really enjoy hearing from you
folks. If you have any comments, complaints, suggestions or just
want to say Hi, please send me an email to

Grandpa Terry's Tip of the Week
Scary Minimum Payments (The Answer)
Did you already find out the answer to last weeks quiz? Here is
the first quiz:
Here is a quiz for you! If you had a credit card with a balance
of $20,000, interest rate of 20% and the minimum payment
starting at $500 which is based on 2.5% of the unpaid balance,
how long would it take to pay it off?
a. 67 months
b. 112 months
c. 327 months
d. 534 months
Answer: By making only the minimum payments it would take you
534 months and cost you $39.467.33 in interest for a total
principle and interest of $59.467.33.
Here is the answer to the second quiz:
Now, here is a second quiz! Using the exact same figures as
above except that you continue paying that $500 each and every
month, how long would it take to pay it off?
a. 67 months
b. 112 months
c. 327 months
d. 534 months
Answer: If you continued to pay $500 per month on this credit
card instead of the lower minimum payment you would only pay
for 67 months and interest of $13,233.84 for a total principle
and interest of $33,233.84. This would be a savings of
$26,233.49 in interest and you would pay it off 467 months
early, or 38 years and 11 months. You would have this credit
card paid off in 5 years and 7 months.
Come on folks, this is not a scam, scheme or numbers trick.
It's something I believe each and every one of us can and should
do and you won't even notice the extra few dollars. I prove
this with each and every Debt Elimination Summary I do. If
you are interested in letting me prove it to you just visit

I was helping my mother-in law clean carpets this past spring
and had heard that ordinary shaving cream will remove tough
stains from carpet/area rugs. Well, as you can imagine, we went
out and bought the carpet cleaning products suggested by the
manufacturer. Not all the stains came out. So out of
desperation, we tried the shaving cream. WOW! It worked
excellent. We used the cheap stuff < $1/can.
As with any cleaning product, it is best to test it on a hidden
area.

Recently, I found myself out of bathroom cleaner and
desperately used the toilet bowl cleaner that contained bleach
on the shower. It is the cleanest it has ever been! The toilet
bowl cleaner is a gel, and it clung to those hard to reach spots
that mildew so badly. After soaking for about 5 minutes, they
were white! The bleach is also a great disinfectant. I used it
on my white countertops, too, and stubborn spots disappeared. I
now just purchase one cleaner!
